Being a disciple of Jesus Christ is all of this and more. It is a life-time commitment to Him, His life, His values, His teachings, and His Commission. We are his disciples if we do as He says and bear much fruit.
Some people told Jesus once that they wanted to follow him and be His disciple and then in turn each one of them had other things to do, legitimate things in their eyes, and Jesus told them, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the Kingdom of God." -Luke 9:57-62 see also 1 Kings 19:19-21
With all of this being said I welcome you, my fellow sojourner in Christ, to accompany me as I walk through this world looking towards a better country and home that awaits all who follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
